Probe was in the Arab State of Gola where the local tribes have turned on the British oilmen, accusing them of killing their Sacred Flame. Probe's strength and speed impresses the tribesmen and he gains an audience with Sheik Firouz, the local leader. Probe intervenes to prevent the whipping of a slave girl, and is cast into a pit and buried alive. He digs himself out and is confronted by Firouz. Firouz tries to turn his pet cheetahs on Probe, but they end up turning on him instead and killing him.
