The 1968-04 was a Pacific Coast Late Model Series (now Camping World West Series) event held at Vallejo Speedway on May 19, 1968. Scotty Cain won his only race of the year, holding off Harold Hardesty. Eventual season champ Ray Elder placed 17th. Elder led the first lap before his rear end gear issues dumped him to 17th. Cain left ever lap thereafter.
