Plagiarism is a serious matter, even in the world of fanfic, and the PPC does not tolerate it. To help stamp it out, there is the Department of Plagiarism. It is not known if this department has any active agents or what they actually do with the reports they get. It is assumed, however, that the department lies dormant until a particularly vile case of plagiarism shows up, and then appoints agents from other departments. It did have at least two dedicated agents circa 2004: Agent Smith and Agent Smith v. 2.0. The head is the Venus Flytrap.
