Hafifu is a male gorilla. He is the son of Sokwe, and the brother of Majinuni. When Sokwe intends to renew his peace treaty with Simba, Hafifu and Majinuni volunteer to carry the message so as to seem more princely. However, they forget the message upon arriving at Pride Rock, and Simba tasks his son, Kion, with returning the gorillas to their home. Along the way, the gorillas save Kion's life, and Kion tells them that their bravery makes for good prince material. He relates the story to Sokwe, who praises his sons and tells them that they are true gorilla princes.
