Kathol was an arboreal planet in the Kathol system, which gave its name to Kathol sector. Over one million years before the rise of the Galactic Republic, the planet was the homeworld of an ancient and extinct sapient and spacefaring species, known as the Kathol, and was the center of the collapsed Kathol Realm. Kathol had three major continents, Scyon, Adragos and Xjare.
