Doug Hutchison portrayed Horace Goodspeed, a mathematician at the DHARMA Initiative's Arrow station. Though his character and was killed off in the Purge, Damon Lindelof and Carlton Cuse describe Horace as factoring significantly in the future "game plan" for Lost.
