Captain Chainly was a clone stormtrooper who assisted Darth Vader on his mission to Samaria in 18 BBY. They tried to track down the slicer Astri Oddo Divinian who was only known under the name "Quintus Farel". When Chainly and his team finally discovered Astri's the secret hiding place they unexpectedly encountered the two Jedi Ferus Olin and Fy-Tor-Ana who protected her and her son Lune Oddo Divinian. Chainly later reported to Lord Vader that lightsabers were used against his men during the confrontation, increasing Vader's mistrust of Ferus Olin even more.
