The USS Sugihara was a Federation starship in the late 24th century. As of 2376, it was under the command of Captain Janna Demitrijian, with Lieutenant Barbanti serving as chief engineer. In early-2376, the Sugihara was near Eerlik when it responded to a distress call from a Talarian cargo ship. While assisting them, the USS da Vinci also sent a distress call when they came under attack by the Senbolma. When the Sugihara arrived, the da Vinci had taken care of the situation.
