The Patrol Bat first appears in the Cramped Nest. Players should follow rather than engage it in order to navigate the dungeon, which is filled with dangerous hidden paths that some cause damage to your party. Several frozen Patrol Bats are later seen in the Underground Lake. In battle, they can tear up the party with Claw Dance if their arms aren't bound.
