Hockey Manitoba awards the Provincial Junior B Champions the Baldy Northcott Trophy. The Champions represent Manitoba at the Western Canadian Junior B Championship for the Keystone Cup. Currently, HM awards the Provincial Junior B Championship to the winner of the Keystone Junior Hockey League which has been the case since the collapse of the Northwest Junior Hockey League in 2004. The Trophy was first awarded in 1940 to the Portage Terriers.
