Dhemlan is a Territory that exists in both Terreille and Kaeleer (see Dhemlan Terreille). During the course of the original trilogy, the Territory is ruled and protected by Saetan SaDiablo and has been for thousands of years even beyond the natural lifespan of the long-lived races, but during the events of Kaeleer's Heart Saetan stepped down. The chosen successor for him was his son, Daemon Sadi, though Daemon claims they only chose him because they fear his power. He still accepted the position.
