Hetman Drofo Awa was the commander of a Xepolite freighter encountered by Commander Sisko and Gul Dukat in 2370. Although Awa claimed he was carrying five kilotons of regreein wheat husks, it was discovered that he was smuggling weapons for the Cardassians into the Demilitarized Zone when Dukat took over Sisko's communications and demanded he lower his shields and surrender. He complied. (DS9: "The Maquis, Part II") Drofo Awa was played by actor Michael Bell.
