Rennard was a thief who lived in the Second Age, and plays a role in the Curse of the Empty Lord miniquest. Rennard was one of the individuals indirectly responsible for bringing the Staff of armadyl into the hands of the Mahjarrat Zamorak, thus allowing Zamorak to betray his lord Zaros. As a result of this Rennard was cursed to live on forever as an invisible ghost, never able to pass on into the afterlife.
