As a young child, he went to the Sith academy on Malachor V and lived there until 4,999 BBY. His entire family was killed when the Sith Emperor performed a ritual on Nathema, his home world. Two decades later, after the Sith discovered Dromund Kaas, he returned to Nathema and saw the devastation. He later began believing that Vitiate was responsible for its demise. He told his brother, The Dark Hero, about this and the two went to face the Emperor at the Dark Temple. During the fight, the Dark Hero betrayed him and he was strike down by the Emperor. But his soul and spirit still reminded, trapped inside a Sith holocron.
