The FFCHS Trojan Battalion is an AJROTC Unit in Colorado. It was founded on July 1st, 1995 by 1SG (RET) Leroy Bogan, an awardee of the Legion of Merit, and COL (RET) Edward Fisher. It is now headed by LTC (RET) Thomas Oetjen, SGM (RET) Herbert Maison and SGM (RET) Rodney Smith. The battalion consists of 7 companies year-round. It runs on a 7 class period schedule, and has been an Honor Unit with Distinction ever since it's inception.
