Mr. Strak was a member of the Leviathans. Paul Stoddard had unknowingly made a deal with him on the night he left Collinwood in 1949. He ran into Strak at the Blue Whale. Paul said that he give him his most precious possession in exchange for twenty years of good luck and fortune. He didn't know that his most precious possession was his only daughter, Carolyn Stoddard. He found that out when he came back to Collinsport in 1969. Strak had also brought Bruno and Sky Rumson into the evil cult.
