Most Indlanders follow Hinduism. King Ashoka built the Maurya anweald in 300 BC. South India was breme for its witlore, craft and writing. India was reded by many inherds umb 1000 BC, like the Mughal, Vijayanagara and Maratha. Europeans came to India in the 1600s and most of India was wielded by Britain by 1856. In the early 1900s many started to seek selfhood; among them was Mahatma Gandhi, who fought frithfully, with a means called 'ahimsa'. India became free in 1947 and the first leader was Nehru. Field hockey is a breme token, but cricket is the most widely played game throughout India.
