A clitoral-vaginal index is a scale rating the intensity of a woman's clitoral orgasm to that of a vaginal orgasm. It was used in Seymour Fisher's book The Female Orgasm to classify women according to their personal orientation for orgasm pleasure. The seven point scale is reproduced below:
