syn Sophia is a video game developer founded on June 19, 1995 as a game that specialized in wrestling titles for the Nintendo 64. Originally known as Aki Corporation, syn Sophia has developed various Nintendo DS games such as Mawashite Tsunageru Touch Panic, Style Savvy, and Ganbaru Watashi no Kakei Diary, all published by Nintendo. Their biggest hit is undeniably Style Savvy, which quickly became one of the best selling games in Japan when it was released in 2008. On April 1, 2007, Aki changed its name to syn Sophia, syn meaning synergy and Sophia meaning wisdom of the universe.
