Mangabey(VVF057) was born in the Vivian Mob on August 21, 2000. Her mother was Rhian, the dominant female and her father was an unknwon rover. He born on a litter of six pups; Colobus( VVM054), Tarsier(VVM055), Macaque(VVM056), Uacari(VVF053),and Patis(VVM058) . Mangabey's mother was later confirmed to be Rhian while Sifaka's mother was Rapunzel. All seven pups all survived to adulthood. Her litter-mate brother Patis went roving with his uncles and joined the Whiskers. Soon Mangabey and sisters became some of the oldest females in the group and were evicted before Rhian gave birth to her litters. She was evicted along with her older half sister Velvet and Viv'e, and Uacari and Sifaka in late 2002. They lived in the Vivian for two years before they left the group on September 7, 2002. The
