A.F. Sgt. Roberts was stationed at Nellis Air Force Base in Nevada at the same time as Colonel Steve Austin. Roberts is a fellow passenger along with Steve and Oscar Goldman aboard a sabotaged flight. Later, as Oscar is the target of assassination attempts, Roberts becomes one of the few trusted by Steve.
