McKanzie has always been Mike's favourite author. He and Tamara once tried to make a roleplaying game based on his books.[1] When McKanzie learned this he expressed an interest in seeing the game.[2] Tamara lost respect for McKanzie after learning of some of his homophobic views.[3] Possibly based on the controversy surrounding author Orson Scott Card.[4]
