Doctor Who: The Time War is an upcoming Doctor Who spin-off created by Mark Gatiss. It will explore the events of the Last Great Time War, as well as the Doctor's role in it. It will feature Paul McGann reprising his role as the Eighth Doctor, Rhys Ifans portraying a younger version of the War Doctor, and John Hurt as the older War Doctor at various points in the series.
