The Tyrador IX Colonial Militia was a militia stationed on Tyrador IX in service to the Terran Confederacy. In 2481, anti-Confederate terrorists attacked the resort town of Elsecaro and targeted off-duty Confederate marines. Lieutenant Arcturus Mengsk defeated the terrorists, making him an acclaimed hero to the colonial militia.
