Hans-Ulrich Back (26 August 1896 – 14 February 1976) was a highly decorated Generalmajor in the Wehrmacht during World War II who held several divisional commands. He was also a recipient of the Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross. The Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross was awarded to recognise extreme battlefield bravery or successful military leadership.
