Elizabeth Ann O'Brien appeared on Coronation Street in two roles: the Receptionist at the clinic attended by Tracy Barlow to have an abortion in September 2011, with a return to the programme as the Nurse who attended to Carla Connor after suffering a miscarriage in June 2014. Her other credits include roles in The Prince and the Pauper, Dalziel and Pascoe, Emmerdale, and the 2006 short film entitled The Distances We Travel. On stage she has appeared in productions including Macbeth, Top Girls, The Magistrate, Lady Windermere's Fan, The Rivals, The Portrait of Dorian Grey and The Riot Act.
