Within days of the Overmind's impact on Aiur, the Conclave appointed Artanis to replace Tassadar as executor. Judicator Aldaris, acting in an advisory role, relayed the Conclave's first orders to the the executor. Antioch was under siege and the outpost there required immediate reinforcement. The relief force linked up with Praetor Fenix at the outpost, bringing additional troops and resources. The latter was important as all the outpost's probes were lost in a prior attack and there had been no resources to replace them.
