The term Global Intellectual South refers to people whose education level is below that of someone who has officially completed the twelfth grade with a high school diploma. Having failed to earn a high school diploma or GED of any kind, they are shunned by future society and stereotyped to be living lives that are degrading to the average citizen of the Third Millenium; despite that fact that the Great Recession made it kind of difficult for everyone in the 2010s (as known as the Lost Decade as little economic information exists about that era by the year 2105). The Vulgar 20th Century, particularly the first 80 years of them, contained many successful high school dropouts who could never succeed had they been born 50 to 100 years later.
