The Dragon Triad are a trio of Verkai's elite henchmen. The Triad was first established when Verkai discovered three mysterious altars scattered around the Island of the Exiles and, although he knew they granted great power, he decided to wait and see if any of the Exiles would end up being worthy to absorb the energy of the Malheart Altars. Those turned out to be Chattur'gha, Ulyaoth and Xel'lotath. Mantorok, a creation of Verkai and Verkai's "son", was added later. Xel'lotath and Mantorok are now the only remaining members of the Triad.
