Hida Noboru was a cavalrymen of the Tsuru's Legion. He survived the first two years of the Destroyer War, and his unit joined the Rokugani forces who would make a stand in the Battle of Kyuden Ashinagabachi in 1173. There he met the Battle Maiden Utaku Hidaki.
