Lord of the Red Sands is the ninth short story published in the Horus Heresy that was not originally part of an anthology novel. It was first published as part of The Imperial Truth exclusive anthology novel and also released separately as an e-book. It is also included in Angron collection and in the War Without End anthology novel.
