There is a galaxy, fairly close to both the Milky Way Galaxy and the Andromeda Galaxy/Galactic Prime, that is the home of the races of the Slayers and the Orks. It is believed that galaxy was politically fragmented into dozens or even hundreds of political factions led by Slayer leaders or Ork Warbosses for centuries and millennia. From 10 BBY until 25 ABY, the Yuuzhan Vong attempted to invade and gain a foothold in this galaxy, but were always driven out by the combined efforts of various Ork and Slayer factions.
