When John Stape attempted to restart his teaching career after being released from Highfield Prison for the kidnap and false imprisonment of Rosie Webster, he applied for a post at Daisyfield High School under the name of Colin Fishwick, an old colleague who left the profession to move to Canada. John stole identity documents to pass muster and was interviewed by the Headmistress and Brian Packham, the Head of English. "Colin" was asked questions about his previous employment, including a post at Camber Public School. Although John only managed to give vague but creditable answers, he was duly accepted for the post.
