Kornan, son of Shovak was a Klingon male and a member of the Klingon Defense Force in the 2370s. In 2373, Kornan was serving on the IKS Rotarran as its weapons officer. By the time General Martok assumed command, Kornan had grown depressed at the ship's many defeats in battle with the Cardassians and the Jem'Hadar. Kornan later attacked Leskit and Ortakin, illustrating to Jadzia Dax how bad the situation on the Rotarran was. Kornan and the crew's honor was restored when Worf challenged Martok and the Rotarran engaged a Jem'Hadar fighter. (DS9 episode: "Soldiers of the Empire")
