Gaena was an isolated world in the Vadimus planet cluster, largely unknown to the rest of the galaxy. It was known to the Galactic Republic and the Galactic Empire as Auotos Beta II. Before the Clone Wars, the world was embroiled in civil war. Jedi Master Aurejin was discovered on Gaena by Jedi scouts before the Clone Wars when they arrived to help slow the civil war on Gaena. Gaena later became one of the worlds conquered by Aleister Vadim, adding it to his small empire that became known simply as Vadimus.
