The 1990 Winter Olympics were hosted in Alta Real, Peru from April 2nd to April 20th, during the spring months in the mountainous city. The majority of events were hosted at five brand-new indoor facilities in downtown Alta Real, while the ski and snowboard events were held at the Las Cordilleras Resort nearby.
