After the quest there is another heat globe on the floor in the room where players defeated the Ice Demon. The pedestals refuse to take it because of some "unknown magical force". Leaving the dungeon with the heat globe in inventory: "Mysterious forces whisk the heat globe from your pack." This, however, can now be taken out during the quest Ritual of the Mahjarrat. Attempting to destroy a heat globe within the Ghorrock fortress dungeons gives the message: "Ancient magics prevent you from dropping this globe within the fortress. It's probably something to do with anti-fire precautions."
