The Armageddon was armed with two self-defense laser cannons and two fire-linked proton torpedo launchers with 25 shots each. This, combined with twice as many solar panels powering up shields, enabled the sluggish ship to take out small capital ships single-handed. However, because they were rather slow, they require escort to heavily armed targets, but will definitely wreak havoc when they get to their targets. A built-in hyperdrive allows the Armageddon to practice what Astragon's Commando Sector does best - guerilla warfare.
