A magic carpet is an item used during the quest, The Jack of Spades, to travel to the city of Menaphos. It is automatically equipped after talking to Grand Vizier Hassan on the roof of the Al Kharid Palace when both hands are free. After it is equipped, players can traverse across the Kharidian Desert to get to Menaphos, or they can speak to Hassan to go to the city directly.
