It is the only unique orb available in Patch 1.09. With a large boost to all Sorceress skills, resistances, cast rate, Energy, and magic find, The Oculus is ideal for all-around Sorceress use. Its ability to teleport when struck, although potentially life-saving, can make it an unpredictable weapon to use, however. Most players will choose to upgrade to higher tier options when they can; Death's Fathom, Heart of the Oak and even Tal Rasha's Lidless Eye in conjunction with other parts of Tal Rasha's Wrappings are common choices.
