Nakarat (TW Piscis Austrini) was a star that was located a number of parsecs away from Earth and the Sol system, in Federation space, near the border between the Alpha and Beta Quadrants. Nakarat is visible from Earth, 25 light-years distant, in the constellation of Piscis Austrinus. The Federation starship USS Nakarat was named for this location.
