Krupp Steel Industries is an family-owned business run by Alfred Krupp, and has been around for 400 years, starting with the making of cannons to the modern 16" Mark 8 naval railgun for Napoleon-class battleships. Krupp's main headquarters is located in Essen, France and has an second headquarters in Chicago, Illinois, despite caution by the French government not to sell to the US or its allies.
