The Nai Sarak Bazaar was a retail area located on Nai Sarak in Delhi, India. In 1984, Khan Noonien Singh was at the bazaar on November 1st, the day after the assassination of Indira Gandhi by two of her Sikh bodyguards. While Khan was there a riot broke out with non-Sikhs attacking the Sikhs because they blamed them for Gandhi's assassination and much of the bazaar was destroyed as the crowd destroyed Sikh owned booths. (TOS novel: The Rise and Fall of Khan Noonien Singh, Volume 1)
