Za Drajn (Rainlander: the Drain) was a large city on the Za Line created in the aftermath of the Wet War between the Sun-Fiefdom and the Rainland. Za Drajn was a large gorge created by Landeles just northwest of the City of the Rainland, which was later inhabited by six surrounding villages to form a large city, the second-largest and 2nd most-populous of the Rainland. Landeles created the gorge after being enraged by Rikari of the Sun-Fiefdom. He seemingly killed his then-ally, the Mud Lych, and his finder, the Queen Korayol, essentially ending any chance of the native Rainlanders winning the war.
