The alarm warning of Invictus's coming blares and Kyle Rayner tries to warn the other New Guardians but his ring cannot establish a connection because of irreconcilable emotional wavelengths. Kyle tells it to hook into his emotions then feels the spectrum in order to make a connection. Kyle gives the other New Guardians what he has learned and tells them to regroup and not to engage Invictus. Invictus walks through a statue of himself on the Okaara replicate and attacks Munk and Fatality because he believes they are servants of "The Beast", at this time believed to be referring to Larfleeze. Munk is able to teleport Fatality and himself to the Tamaran replica where Saint Walker and Arkillo are. Invictus walks out of the statue above them and Arkillo engages him. Invictus battles all four L
