"Some of These Days" is a jazz standard written by Canadian composer Shelton Brooks. It was published in 1910 and introduced that year by popular entertainer Sophie Tucker; she made the first recording of it in 1911 on an Edison cylinder. It was subsequently recorded by numerous artists including Louis Armstrong and Bing Crosby, and has been featured in many movies as well, including the film adaptation of Rose-Marie. Miss Piggy sings the song as she packs up her dressing room in episode 502 of The Muppet Show and prepares to leave the show.
