The 1956-11 was a Convertible Series event held at Raleigh Speedway on May 12, 1956. Frank Mundy won his second straight race, starting on the pole and leading all but six laps to hold off Jimmy Massey by three-quarters of a second. Eventual season champ Bob Welborn was 5th.
