An unnamed Station Sergeant who served at Tile Street police station in 1961. Local cafe owner Agnes Maclean handed in a misplaced bag as lost property to the Sergeant. When he later discovered that a woman was knocked down in the same area as the bag was found, the Sergeant realised the two incidents were connected, although her identity had already been determined as Ida Barlow.
