The Gallows Courtyard is the forecourt of the Gallows and home to the merchant market. The area is only accessible during the day. Although this is the first area Hawke visits upon arriving in the city, it will not be accessible again until the Wayward Son, Enemies Among Us, or Family History quest is activated.
