Peter A. Taglianetti (born August 15 1963 in Framingham, Massachusetts) is a former NHL defenceman and former college hockey coach at Washington & Jefferson College. Taglianetti was chosen 43rd overall by the Winnipeg Jets in the 1983 NHL Entry Draft after his sophomore year at Providence College. He played solidly during his junior and senior years and was named to the ECAC second all-star team in 1984 and the Hockey East first all-star team the next year.
